Nephew and sister-in-law beaten up as witch, case registered

Seraikela : Along with the case of witch harassment on women, now cases of witching are also coming on men. Sinu Bodra, a resident of Bada Hariharpur village under Kandra police station, has taken shelter in the branch office of the family counseling center at Birbans for the protection of his life.

In an application in this regard to Chhuni Devi, head of the counseling center, Sinu has told that her nephew and sister-in-law from her village have been abusing her for years accusing her of being a witch. Due to their fear, Sinu has left his home and is living in another place. Sinu says that on September 2, his nephew Putul Bodra suddenly started hitting him with a stick while on duty.
