Sensei Niraj Kumar receives outstanding karateka certificate

Jamshedpur: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Jharkhand Goju Ryu Karate Do Association was held on Sunday, at the Tulsi Bhawan. Representatives from various districts across Jharkhand actively participated in the election proceedings, resulting in the unanimous formation of a new committee.

The newly elected committee comprises the following key positions: Chairman: Nepal Vishwakarma, Ramgarh, Senior Vice President: Amit Kumar Khandelwal, Jamshedpur, Vice President: Subodh Karua, Noamundi and Gaus Khan, Chakradharpur, Chief Technical Director: Kyoshi L. Nageswar Rao, Jamshedpur, Technical Director: Shihan Shahzad Qureshi, Ranchi, RC Chairman: Shihan Sumit Kumar Senapati, Chiriya, General Secretary: Shihan Sandeep Kumar, Ranchi, Chief Instructor: Shihan Sarju Ram, Jamshedpur, Treasurer: Sensei Niraj Kumar, Jamshedpur, Joint-Treasurer: Sensei Priyabrata Dutta, Galudih, Joint-General Secretary: Sensei Lal Mohan Das, Noamundi,    Joint Secretary: Sensei Putul Tiriya, Noamundi and Sensei Arvind Oraon, Latehar.

The AGM also recognized and awarded outstanding Karatekas for the year 2022-23. Sensei Niraj Kumar received the Outstanding Karateka Certificate and a Cash Prize of Rs 20,000. Shihan Sandeep Kumar was honored with an Outstanding Karateka Certificate and a Karate Bag. Sampai Karanisha Das was acknowledged with the Best Karateka Girls Award along with a Karate Bag. These awards were presented by the chief guest, Prashant Kumar, President of Press Club of Jamshedpur.

The newly elected committee is expected to contribute significantly to the promotion and development of Goju Ryu Karate in Jharkhand.
