Jamshedpur: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jamshedpur, organized a district level speech competition on Friday. The event was organized under the aegis of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India through Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. More than 40 youths from all blocks of East Singhbhum took part in the competition. The main purpose of the programme was to instil patriotism in the youth and make them responsible and dedicated citizens having leadership qualities. The first place was bagged by Anamika Kumari while the second and third places were secured by Ankur Kant and Dinesh Karmakar respectively. Anamika Kumari was selected for the state level speech competition. The judges for the event included Dr Ashutosh Kumar Jha, Nagendra Kumar and Dayamaya Bauri. The orgoanizers included Bhoslo Besra, Abhilash, Jyoti Kumari, Nehai Kumari, Anant Mahapatra, Kiran Pal, Vijay Mahato and D Krishna Rao.
