Seraikela, May 27: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) released the Matric Board Examination results on Tuesday, bringing mixed emotions across the state. Seraikela-Kharsawan district secured the 22nd rank in the state with an overall pass percentage of 85.030%.
The top-performing school in the district was Naurang Rai Surya Devi Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Chandil, where out of 104 students, 101 passed with first division and three with second. The school’s student, Neha Haldar, emerged as the district topper, scoring an outstanding 96.2%. School Principal Kunal Kumar expressed immense pride, crediting the students’ dedication, parental support and teamwork of the teaching staff for the success. Several students scored over 90%, with Rinku Satpathy securing fourth position in the district with 95.20% and Vineet Kumar and Jagannath Sen sharing fifth with 95.0%.
Neha Haldar, daughter of a cloth store owner, aims to become a doctor and serve the underprivileged. She said, “I want to use my education to help those in need through medical service.”
The second district topper, Gopal Kumbhakar from Birbans village in Kolabira, is the son of a daily wage labourer. He dreams of becoming a teacher to spread education in rural areas and uplift society. “I want to ignite the flame of knowledge in my community,” he shared.
Saraswati Shishu Mandir High School, Seraikela, also posted a 100% success rate. Of the 108 students who appeared, 106 passed with first division and two with second. Sneha Sahu topped the school with 95.40%, followed by Tripti Mahato and Laxmi Gop. Neetu Padihari, daughter of para-teacher Sunil Kumar Padihari, ranked fourth in the school and aspires to become a doctor and serve society.
