Near catastrophe averted as IndiGo Flight’s Engine fails at Birsa Munda Airport

Ranchi, Oct 18: A potentially catastrophic incident was narrowly averted at Birsa Munda Airport, the capital’s aviation hub, thanks to the quick thinking of the pilot. At 8:30 AM, an IndiGo flight, bearing the number 6E 7562, had commenced its takeoff procedure when a sudden and critical engine malfunction occurred.
In response, the vigilant pilot took immediate action by aborting the takeoff and safely halting the flight. The airport authorities were promptly notified of the technical fault, triggering a swift response from the airport’s maintenance and engineering teams. These professionals mobilized to investigate the technical issue afflicting the aircraft.
