NCC cadets of Jamshedpur Women’s University for national camp

Jamshedpur, August 28: NCC cadets of Jamshedpur Women’s University have been selected for the Army Camp to be held in Delhi.

Univerisity vice-chancellor Anjila Gupta said that “National Cadet Corps provides a conducive environment to motivate and inspire the youth to join the Armed Forces. As per the information received by Caretaker Officer Preeti, two NCC Cadets of our University are under Officer Deepti Kumari and Cadet Sunita Kuntiya have been selected for Thal Sainik Camp to be held in Delhi.

NCC cadets were selected through various competitions like health and hygiene, tent pitching, obstacle race, judging distance field signal, rifle shooting, map reading etc.

570 NCC cadets from the states of Bihar and Jharkhand participated in the Pre Thal Sainik Camp at Khelgaon, Ranchi from 1st to 19th August, in which two NCC cadets of Jamshedpur Women University have been selected.
