Jamshedpur, August 28: Anganwadi sevikas and assistants protested in front of the DC Office on Monday for not getting honorarium for eight months and demanded that they be paid honorarium as soon as possible.
Sevika Lakshmi Rani told that due to non-payment of honorarium for the last eight months, the economic situation is facing. The family runs on the honorarium only. Earlier, regular honorarium was received, but from January 2023, the payment is not being received. The last of the month of August is going on. Only assurance is given in the office that it will be received soon. It is not told when it will be available.
