Nawada auditor found dead in Jamshedpur hotel

Jamshedpur, Dec 2: A 29 year-old man, identified as Pankaj Kumar and an auditor by profession, was found dead under mysterious condition in Hotel Neelkanth under Jugsalai police station area. His body was reportedly found hanging from the ceiling of a room on Friday.

Police sent the body to MGM Medical College for postmortem examination and registered a case of unnatural death in this connection.

Cops said the deceased was a native of Ahiyapur village in Nawada district of Bihar. The family members of the deceased reached the hotel today and found Pankaj dead. They said they had talked to him over phone Wednesday last time. Pankaj told his family members he was going to Jamshedpur for auditing work. They further said they had received information from Ranchi’s Ratu police station that Pankaj had met with a car accident. The family members reached Ranchi yesterday and came to Hotel Neelkanth on the basis of Pankaj’s mobile phone location.

Jugsalai police have begun an investigation into the auditor’s mysterious death. They are looking for CCTV footage to get leads in the case.
