Navratri celebrated with enthusiasm at KSMS

Jamshedpur, September 26: The spirit of Navratri was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at KSMS, where the Pre-Primary wing organized a vibrant programme showcasing the cultural richness of the festival.

The highlight of the event was a presentation by the children of LKG and UKG, who depicted the nine divine forms of Goddess Durga (Navdurga). Dressed in symbolic colours and carrying the attributes of the Goddess, the young students confidently represented Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri. They also narrated the story of Goddess Durga’s victory over Mahishasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.

The celebration further included a graceful dance performance by the teachers, which was met with enthusiastic applause.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal of KSMS Ms.Nandini Shulka, appreciated the efforts of both students and teachers. She emphasized the importance of such celebrations in instilling cultural values and confidence among young learners.

The programme concluded on a note of devotion and joy, leaving the audience inspired by the strength and grace of Maa Durga.
