Jamshedpur: Social organization Navchetan felicitated several social workers of the city during the 9th summer hungama cum-felicitation programme held at Govindpur on Sunday.
The chief guest of the programme was national secretary of Intuc Rakeshwar Pandey while the guest of honour was the general secretary of Telco Workers Union Chandrabhan Singh. They felicitated the guests on the occasion and appreciated them for their contribution to the society through their good work.
Children presented a cultural programme on the occasion. They enthralled the audience through a dance performance on �lungi dance� and other Bollywood songs.
Mementoes were given to the felicitated guests on behalf of the organization. Tata Steel, Tata Cummins and Steel Strip Wheels too, participated in the programme.
The welcome speech was given by the secretary of the outfit Raman Kumar Jha while a vote of thanks was proposed by Sunil Dubey. The principle of Sunrise English School Poonam Jha was also present along with Jainarayan Singh Sadhu, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Santosh Yadav.
Prizes were given away to winners of summer hungama who included Prachi Kumari, Aryan Prakash, Anushka Kunwar, Jyotsna Kumari, Balram Kumar, Aman and Abhiraj.
