Jamshedpur, May 6: Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA), Jamshedpur, under the aegis of Hockey Jharkhand is all set to host Jharkhand Sub-Junior & Junior Men State Hockey Championship 2023.
The event will be held at NTHA’s Jamshedpur Astroturf pitch from May 8 to 12. The last edition of the coveted tournament was held in April 2019.
Eight districts from Jharkhand are invited to play this league cum knockout event. After the pool phase, the top two teams of each pool will play a crossover semi-final match to book a berth in the finals.
The podium finisher will be honoured with medals and trophies. There are special awards for individual performers such as, Best Player of the Tournament, Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament and Rising Star.
The teams participating in the sub-junior and junior level are from NTHA, Simdega, Gumla, Khunti, West Singhbhum, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, East Singhbhum and Palamu districts of Jharkhand.
