Jamshedpur, August 28: Ravindra Jha, also known as Nattu Jha, a prominent Congress leader and former District President of Jamshedpur Congress, has officially laid claim to the Jamshedpur East and West Assembly seats for the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections.
Jha has submitted his biodata to Dharmendra Sonkar, the Executive President of East Singhbhum District Congress, who has forwarded it to Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, the President of the Jharkhand State Congress Committee. The submission aligns with the deadline of August 29, set by the All India Congress Committee’s screening committee for assembly candidature applications.
In his application, Jha highlights his extensive experience and dedication to the Congress party. His past roles include serving as the District President of Purbi Singhbhum Congress, Vice President of NSUI Bihar State, and holding various positions within the Youth Congress Bihar State. He is also noted for his active involvement in social organizations, including his current role as President of the Builder Association of India in Seraikela-Kharsawan.
Jha’s contributions to the Congress party have earned him recognition, including being honoured as the best district president by the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee. His strong claim for the assembly seats underscores his ongoing commitment to both political and social causes.
