Jamshedpur, Oct 12: The NSS unit of Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) celebrated the eighth National Nutrition Month (Rashtriya Poshan Maah) at its Bistupur campus with an awareness rally and a street play. The event aimed to promote healthy eating habits and spread awareness about nutrition among students and the public.
Through the street play, NSS volunteers highlighted the importance of consuming whole grains and nutritious foods while advising people to avoid processed and refined flour (maida) products. They also emphasized maintaining a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
NSS Coordinator Dr. Gloria Purti, along with NSS Officers Dr. D. Pushpa Lata, Dr. Sunita Kumari, and Dr. Chhaganlal Agarwal, guided the students and ensured the program’s success.
