Jamshedpur: National Lok Adalat was organized at Jamshedpur Civil Court here on Saturday.
A total of 1174 cases were disposed on the occasion while Rs 3.14 crore was recovered from defaulters and litigants.
There were a total of 818 pre-litigation cases.
Five benches were set up for the smooth disposal of pending cases. An amount of Rs 1.39 crore was collected in compensation for motor vehicle accident cases.
The Lok Adalat was inaugurated by the District and Sessions Judge Manoj Prasad.
