Jamshedpur, May 31: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato Tuesday said the country was fast progressing under the charismatic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the poor people, especially farmers were benefitting immensely from the welfare schemes being run by the Central government. He was speaking as the chief guest during a welfare conference for the poor cum cent per cent empowerment programme organized at Darisai Agriculture Science Centre. He said efforts were on to double the income of farmers.
Many dignitaries were present during the programme.
