Jamshedpur, Sept 14: Students of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) presented a captivating mime performance at the Rotary District 3250 “Gyan Deep” Literacy Seminar held at a hotel in Bistupur on Sunday.
Dressed in traditional black attire with expressive white masks, the mime team delivered a thought-provoking act highlighting the transformative power of education. Without speaking a single word, they portrayed strong messages on eradicating illiteracy, empowering children through learning, and building a brighter future.
The performance struck a chord with the audience, which included eminent Rotarians, educationists, and distinguished guests. The hall echoed with applause as the students’ efforts were appreciated for combining creativity with a strong social message.
Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury praised the students’ initiative and said, “Through this mime, our students have shown that art is a universal language that can spread awareness and touch hearts. We are proud to contribute to the cause of literacy.”
