Narbheram Hansraj English School Launches Alumni Connect Programme

Jamshedpur : Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated a momentous occasion on August 25, 2023, with the launch of its highly anticipated Alumni Connect Programme. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Nakul Kamani, President of the School Managing Committee, alongside esteemed dignitaries including Mrs. Varsha Gandhi, Secretary, Mr. Devang Gandhi, Joint Secretary, and other distinguished members of the Managing Committee.
In a bid to bridge the gap between past and present, NHES partnered with Vaave, a Hyderabad-based company, to design an alumni website. This platform stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering enduring connections between its alumni, students, and teachers. Notably, the platform transcends geographical boundaries, enabling NHES alumni from across the world to reconnect, share experiences, exchange insights, and potentially collaborate on future ventures.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from NHES alumni, with attendees representing pivotal milestones in the school’s history. Among those present were the trailblazing students of the 1st ICSE batch of 1994 and the 1st ISC batch of 2000, adding a touch of nostalgia to the momentous occasion.
Even across continents, the celebration witnessed engaging virtual contributions from accomplished alumni. Ashutosh Kumar, an alumnus of NHES who secured the prestigious ISC State Topper accolade in the Science stream in 2016, graced the occasion virtually from his current academic pursuit at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Another distinguished alumnus, Md. Najaf Bin Manawar, hailing from the 2005 batch, shared his thoughts through the online platform. Currently managing the global supply chain for Google’s Pixel phones in the USA, his success serves as an inspiration to current and future NHES students.
Archana Shukla, a luminary from the 1999 batch and a dedicated reporter at BBC based in Mumbai, illuminated the ceremony with her virtual presentation, sharing her valuable experiences and insights garnered from her professional journey.
The entrepreneurial spirit of NHES alumni was showcased through Randeep Singh, a member of the 2004 batch, who has carved a niche for himself as a city-based entrepreneur.
Adding a touch of medical expertise, Dr. Vivek Kedia, an accomplished eye specialist and alumnus from the 1999 batch, reminisced about cherished memories and charted a path forward for NHES alumni.
Principal Paramita Roychaudhury expressed her gratitude, highlighting the instrumental role played by Nakul Kamani and Devang Gandhi in making the Alumni Connect Programme a reality. The initiative stands as a testament to NHES’s dedication to nurturing lifelong connections within its vibrant community.
