Jamshedpur, May 5: As a mark of respect and regard to the subordinate staff members of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES), Labour was observed in the school on Thursday, May 5.
School Principal, Paramita Roy Chaudhury, thanked them for their valuable services and appreciated their constant support.
“The gesture was made to bring smile on the faces and show appreciation for their hard work,” said principal.
On the occasion faculty members along with and students distributed umbrellas and sweet packets among the sub staff.
India has been celebrating May Day or International Labour Day since 1932 to honour labourers whose self pride stops them from asking for alms, and makes them sweat to make a living.
