NaMo Brigade against beer bar

Jamshedpur: A delegation of Narendra Modi Youth Brigade met the officer in-charge of Sakchi police station Gopal Singh on Monday and handed over a memorandum to him demanding measures against the proposed opening of a beer bar close to Shitla Mandir.

The outfit members said the beer bar was going to be opened within a range of 100 metres from the temple.

He said this would greatly increase unlawful activities in the area and make it difficult for the devotees to perform puja or feel safe.

The officer in-charge assured to take necessary action to ensure that the beer bar is not opened at the proposed place close to the temple.

Among those present in the delegation include Amit Kumar Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Sahil Gupta, Pankaj Singh, Kunal Sharma and Ankit Anand.
