Jamshedpur, Sep 3: Mother Aamna Memorial Educational and Welfare Society will present Nair Excellence Award in memory of educationist A.P.R. Nair. This award will be bestowed upon ten coaches and emerging players who have made significant contributions in the field of sports. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 6 at Mango Ulidih ground, said organization’s Chairman Dr Afroz Shakeel and president Tahir Hussain.
They informed that in addition to the prestigious award, scholarships will also be granted to deserving individuals as part of this initiative. They further said that in celebration of Teacher’s Day, a football competition will be organized for young children. Players from both the winning and runner-up teams will receive well-deserved rewards for their participation.
They also announced that winners of various school-level and inter-busti sports competitions held over the past month will be honoured on September 16.
