Jamshedpur, September 3: Thieves stole lakhs of rupees in cash and jewelery from the house of Sameer Khan, resident of Albela Garden, Kapali OP area adjacent to Jamshedpur.
At the time of the incident, Sameer had gone with his family to his second residence in Sahara City, Mango.
On Sunday morning, the neighbors informed him over the phone about the theft in the house. As soon as the information was received, he reached Albela Garden. They found that the door of the house was broken and all the things inside the house were scattered. He immediately informed the police about this.
After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Sameer Khan told that thieves have stolen Rs 3.75 lakh, two gold chains, two gold rings, four silver chains, two Rolex watches and two mobile phones by breaking the cupboard kept in the house.
He told that he also has a house in Sahara City of Mango. He had gone to Sahara City with his family on Saturday. Around 9 in the morning, his neighbor called and told that there has been a theft in the house.
