To discuss SC directives on higher pension payment

Jamshedpur, Nov 14: A one-day meeting of the VI th National Executive of the National Agitation Committee (NAC), fighting for the interests of the workers of the country, has been convened on Monday, November 15 from 10 am to 3 pm at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur. This information was given by the provincial president of NAC, Raghunath Pandey in a press conference held at the office of JUSCO Labor Union in Bistupur.
He told that eminent labor leaders of the country will participate in this meeting. “In the light of the order of Supreme Court canceling the instructions issued by EPFO on 31st May 2017 to restore the facility of higher pension, to give Rs 7,500 basic pension and dearness allowance on this basic pension and for all EPS-95 pensioners / their spouses. Along with the demand for providing free medical facilities to the husband and pension of Rs 5,000 to the retired employees deprived of the EPFO scheme, as well as the demands of the Central Government to abolish other anti-labour laws, the strategy of the movement will be discussed and an outline for joint action will be chalked out,” Pandey explained.
Senior NAC office bearers present at the press briefing included Ashok Rawat, Virendra, Surendra Singh, Suresh Dangwal, E Satish Kumar, Parshuram Mishra, Mohammad Naushad, Sanjay Yadav, Chittaranjan, Uttam and Ravikant Shukla.
