
Jamshedpur: The annual Inter KPS Youth Festival began at the premises Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma on Friday, December 13.

Opening day of the two-day fest saw a myriad of celebrations replete with music, dazzling dances and hues of colours amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation.

This year�s theme �Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,� a Sanskrit phrase found in Hindu texts such as The Maha Upanishad, signifies that the world is one family.

The schools participating in the Inter KPS Youth Festival 2019 are KPS Gamharia, KPS Burmamines, NML KPS, KPS Mango, KPS Rairangpur, and KPS Kadma.
Events commenced with the enthusiastic dancers mesmerising the audience followed by Eastern Solo and Group Song, Western Solo and Group Song. The day finally came to an end with a strong message of unity and oneness, which was visualized in the Play and Nukkad Natak. Off stage events like Essay Writing, Story writing, Be a columnist, Be a lyricist and Slogan Writing was also conducted today.
Earlier in the day Chairperson, Kerala Public Schools Manorama Nair graced the occasion by lighting the lamp along with Directors Sharat Chandran and Dr. Shrikant Nair, Academic Directors Lakshmi Sharat and Dr. Rachana Nair, Principal Kerala Public School Kadma Sharmila Mukherjee, and the Principals of the other Kerala Public Schools.
The closing ceremony will be conducted on 14th December 2019.
