My fight is to end ‘hooliganism’ of a particular family: Dr. Ajoy  Kumar   

Jamshedpur, Nov 11 : Congress party candidate Dr. Ajoy  Kumar launched a strong campaign against the alleged hooliganism and misrule by one influential family in Jamshedpur East, during a press conference at the party’s central office on Monday. Dr. Ajoy  emphasized his commitment to public service, stressing that his fight was not just political, but a mission to restore dignity to the region.

“I have always discharged my responsibilities honestly while holding a constitutional post,” Dr. Ajoy  stated. “I have never misused my position, whether as an MP or in any other capacity. My track record is clear, and it is why I am receiving so much love and respect from the people of Jamshedpur East.” He reiterated his resolve to never disappoint the people who have supported him, but also expressed his concerns about the actions of his opponent, Raghubar  Das. Dr. Ajoy  criticized the former Chief Minister for undermining the dignity of his constitutional position and alleged that his family was threatening his supporters.

“My supporters are being threatened by Raghubar  Das’s family. This is wrong, and it goes against the spirit of democracy. I have full faith that the people of Jamshedpur East will support me, and we will win with a huge margin,” Dr. Ajoy  affirmed.

Former Congress President and Lohardaga MP, Sukhdev Bhagat, also spoke at the press conference, praising Dr. Ajoy ’s leadership and vision. “The people of Jamshedpur have seen Dr. Ajoy  worked in khaki as a police captain, where he brought peace and harmony to the region. Now, in khadi, he will continue to serve the people with the same dedication and integrity,” Bhagat said.

He criticized the BJP for attempting to divide the community through tactics of “divide and rule,” calling it detrimental to the democratic fabric of the country. “BJP’s slogan ‘Divide and Be Destroyed’ is a blow to Indian democracy,” Bhagat said. “They want to spoil the social harmony we’ve worked so hard to build.”

Bhagat concluded with a call for change, asserting that the people of Jamshedpur East are eager to break free from the dominance of one family that has ruled for 25 years. He expressed confidence that Dr. Ajoy  would secure a resounding victory in the upcoming election, offering the region a new era of governance focused on peace, unity, and progress.
