Murderous attack bid on former minister Enos Ekka

Simdega: Former minister Enos Ekka has alleged that a murderous attack was attempted on him at a program organised at Kobang Beda in Pakartand police station area on Thursday.
While he was giving the speech, people named Luv Sahu, Kush Sahu, Bihari Sahu and Bahadur Sahu started abusing him, and pushed Enos Ekka, made a fatal attack on Enos Ekka. His body guards rescued him and brought him to the vehicle and immediately left from there.
Enos has expressed his displeasure over the attempted attack on him. He said that the people who tried to attack him are members of the Congress party. He said that the attack on him happened at the instigation of some big leader. He said that fearing his popularity, people are now bent upon doing such heinous acts. He spoke to the SP about the attempt to attack him and demanded action. The SP took immediate action on their complaint and gave several instructions to the station in-charge, after which the station in-charge picked up some people and started interrogating them. Enos Ekka is giving a written application to the police regarding the whole matter.
SP Kumar Saurabh said that former minister Ekka had gone to participate in the sports program. SP said that prima facie it has come to light that when he was attending the program. Meanwhile, some people started raising slogans against Ekka. The SP said that the responsibility of investigating the case has been given to the Inspector of Simdega Circle. Police will take further action after the investigation report comes.
