Baharagora: New community buildings would be constructed in Baharagora to facilitate various social and cultural activities of the Munda community. This was announced on Saturday by the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato during a felicitation programme of Mundari Samaj Susar Samiti at Netaji Shishu Udyan in Baharagora.
Addressing the gathering, the MP said the Munda community has a glorious past. He said a conference of the community members would be held in November this year in Baharagora. MP Kariya Munda and former CM Arjun Munda would be invited to the event, he said.
Mahato and several members of Munda community were felicitated on the occasion. The MP was offered a pugree on behalf of Mundari community.
