Jamshedpur, Jan. 23: Potka Mukhiya Sangh on Sunday organised picnic cum annual get-together at Narwa Pahar near Damudih Gura river bank.
On the occasion all the mukhiyas pledged to help development reach every village of Potka. The members of the sangh appealed to support the development process in the society so that it benefits the last person of the society. The event was hosted by president of Sangh Ganesh Sardar and mukhiya Bhagirath Hansda.
Guests for the occasion were Musabani DSP Ajit Vimal, Potka police station in-charge Arvind Yadav, Kovali police station in-charge KN Jha, Zila Parishad chairperson Bulu Rani Singh, Potka pramukh Sukurmani Tudu, journalist Anirudh Mahato, Manoj Sinha and PK Nayak.
Earlier the mukhiyas danced to the tunes of santhali songs. At the event journalist Rakesh Mishra sang santahli song.
