Jadugoda, Dec 23: Mukesh Singh, Pushpraj and Anar Mardi’s electoral win in UCIL Employees Cooperative Credit Society of Jadugoda election surprised everyone. The trio won the committee members post. Eleven candidates fighting for the same posts were defeated. Sandeep Kumar Sahu who lost the treasurer post because of the invalid post congratulated UCIL employees for actively taking part in the election. Sahu also wished the winners and hoped the new members live up to the expectations of the employees so that the society can move forward with renewed energy. Mukesh Singh of Turmadih won 789 votes to bag top spot followed by Pushpraj of Jaduguda who won 748 votes while Anar Mardi of Narwa Pahar was placed third with 588 votes. It is worth mentioning that 65.7 % electorate exercised their franchisee in UCIL Employees Cooperative Credit Society of Jadugoda elections on Tuesday, December 22 to elect three committee members and one treasurer. 3,663 UCIL worker members were eligible to cast their votes in the election.
