Jamshedpur, Sept 12: With things getting hotter with the approach of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) election date of September 26, a keen watch is being kept on who is applying for which key post and if the name is big, the pulse starts racing faster. One such big name, Mukesh Mittal, the present SCCI Vice President (PR) has filed his nomination for the General Secretary’s chair.
Speaking to the media after filing his nomination papers, Mukesh Mittal expressed confidence while stating, “My work is my credential. I have worked sincerely over the past two years in my capacity as Vice President of Public Relations and have been able to address various issues related to business, industry, society, state, and humanity.”
Mittal further claimed that he had trained his efforts at initiating the completion of the pending work on the Jugsalai rail over-bridge (ROB), successfully protested the Sarai market rent hike by obtaining a stay order against the move from the district administration.
“I have worked on initiatives such as pink toilets in markets for women, law and order, organized a two-day Chamber Cricket League and successfully organized Diwali and Holi celebrations in the SCCI premises. I have closely worked and continue to do so for the rights of specially abled individuals and marginalized groups. It is my priority to resolve problems faced by businesses in various segments like basic infrastructure, civic amenities, law and order, housing, and industrial relations.”
