Jamshedpur, July 30: MSME director Pawan Kumar Gupta held a meeting with the officials of Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) at UCIL Guesthouse on Tuesday. During the meeting, the public procurement policy of UCIL was reviewed by Gupta and other officials. It was decided to hold a second meeting next month with the HODs of various departments of the PSU.
Gupta said the company is supposed to purchase four per cent of its raw materials from SC/ST entrepreneurs and vendors while 25 per cent materials should be purchased from micro and small industries as per the Public Procurement Policy of the Government of India.
The meeting was attended by Gaurav Kumar, Vidyapati Patra, Khelaram Murmu, Basant Tirkey, Vivek Minz, BR Chakravarty and Sudipto Das.
