MSME Act, Budget session to be tabled at Jharkhand cabinet meeting 

Ranchi, February 11: The second cabinet meeting of Champai Soren led Jharkhand government is scheduled on Monday.

Only Chief Minister and ministers Alamgir Alam and Satyanand Bhokta will participate in this meeting. Cabinet expansion is on 16 February.

It is being told that a proposal may come in the cabinet meeting to hold the budget session of the assembly from February 23. Along with this, a proposal for MSME Act may also come for approval.

The MSME policy will be given the form of law. The state government has already implemented the MSME policy. Now it is being given the form of law. The proposal for MSME Act may come on Monday. Under this proposal, the laws made by the state government for setting up industries will not be applicable on MSMEs for three years. They will do self-certification for license. Only that will be accepted by the government.

There is also a proposal for formation of MSME Directorate. There is also a proposal for formation of MSME Directorate in the Industry Department. Which will be presented in the cabinet. At present, the Industries Department has the Directorate of Industries and the Directorate of Handlooms and Handicrafts. With the formation of MSME Directorate, there will be three directorates.
