MP Praveen Khandelwal promises traders’ representation in Parliament

Jamshedpur, June 9: The traders of Jamshedpur, affiliated to the Confederation of All India Traders (CAT), extended their congratulations to Praveen Khandelwal, National General Secretary of CAT, for his victory in the New Delhi Chandni Chowk parliamentary constituency. Expressing joy, CAT National Secretary Suresh Sonthalia hailed Khandelwal’s win as a triumph for the trading community, emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of their significance by fielding Khandelwal as a candidate.

Khandelwal’s landslide victory, in his debut Lok Sabha elections, underscored the support of India’s nine crore traders for Prime Minister Modi and him. With his extensive engagement with traders nationwide, including several visits to Jharkhand including Jamshedpur, Khandelwal’s election promises amplified representation for traders in Parliament.

CAT Jharkhand patrons Bharat Vasani and Kishore Golchha lauded the Prime Minister’s decision to nominate Khandelwal, asserting that traders’ voices would now be heard in Parliament, fostering optimism among Jharkhand’s trading community.

Kolhan tax experts Dilip Golchha and Piyush Chaudhary anticipated discussions on simplifying GST and addressing Mudra loans. Members of the Jamshedpur Distributor Association, Dilip Goyal and Nilesh Vora expressed confidence in resolving issues related to online trade and FSSAI.

Representatives from Laghu Udyog Bharati, Gyanchand Jaiswal, Binod Sharma, and Sanwar Sharma, congratulated Praveen Khandelwal on his parliamentary victory, urging increased attention to MSME sector concerns from the government.
