Jamshedpur, June 9: A grand family gathering and Mahajutan was organized at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur, on Sunday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Parashuram. The Brahmin community of the city participated in the event.

To foster a sense of unity among Brahmins, a large-scale program was arranged at Bistupur Gopal Maidan on the auspicious occasion of Lord Shri Parashuram’s birth anniversary, attracting thousands of Brahmin families. The event commenced with 101 priests from Dharma Rakshini Mahasabha performing Swasti rituals and offering flowers and Aarti to the idol of Lord Parashuram. Labor leader Rakeshwar Pandey delivered the welcome address, followed by a discourse on Lord Parashuram by chief speaker Divendu Tripathi.

Former Additional Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Government, Dr Arvind Kumar Pandey, educationist Dr. Tripura Jha, former Deputy Plant Head of Tata Motors Manas Mishra, and the head priest of Balaji Bhagwan at Bistupur Shri Ram Mandir, Shri Pundamacharya, graced the event as chief guests. The Lord Shri Parshuram Janmotsav Samiti honored Brahmins who made significant contributions to society.
In the second session of the program, a cultural and devotional musical evening featuring renowned Bhojpuri singers Indu Sonali and Chandan Tiwari and their team captivated the audience. Over 25 thousand Brahmin families were invited to the event, where Prasad was distributed to all the guests.
