Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato and Potka MLA Menka Sardar laid the foundation of a road in Sosodhut village of Bhatin panchayat under Jadugora PS on Saturday. The road will be constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
It will have a length of 1.5 kilometre. The total estimate of the project is around Rs 60 lakh. The MP said the road would pave the way for the development of villages in Bhatin panchayat. He assured the villagers of all possible help in getting access to various civic amenities.
Among others present during the foundation laying ceremony included Sanjeev Bhakta, Uttam Bhakta, Haldhar Das, Girish Singh, Panchanand Das, Pankaj Rana, Anand Mahato and Jagdish Soren.
