Jamshedpur: The mortal remains of MP Banerjee, former president of the Jamshedpur District Bar Association, put to rest on Monday afternoon. He was cremated at Sakchi Subarnarekha Burning Ghat. Many people, including the Bar Association advocate, attended the occasion. Earlier, the funeral procession took off from the Mango Post Office Road residence. The body was brought to the Jamshedpur Civil Court complex.
The body was placed for the last visit to the Bar Association building. Bar Association president Lala Ajit Kumar Ambashta, Secretary Anil Kumar Tiwari, Joint Secretary Pawan Kumar Tiwari, Sudhir Kumar Pappu, Devendra Kumar Singh, Dhamendra Kumar Singh, Ravi Thakur, many people including the court staff paid their tributes. Bar Association secretary Anil Kumar Tiwari said MP Banerjee was the preferred advocate. His death is a deep loss for the association.
