MoU between Satyadev Singh Cricket Academy and JSCA to establish National-Level cricket ground in Kanko Hill School Dhanbad

Ranchi, May 24: MoU was signed between the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) and Satyadev Singh Cricket Academy to develop a national-level cricket ground at Kanko Hill School in Dhanbad. The signing took place on Friday, with JSCA Secretary Debashish Chakraborty and Academy President cum Kanko Hill School Director Rajeev Ranjan Singh formalizing the agreement. The event, held at the JSCA Stadium, was attended by JSCA President Sanjay Sahay, Joint Secretary P.N. Singh, CEO A.K. Singh, Dhanbad Cricket Association (DCA) President Manoj Kumar, Secretary Uttam Biswas, and several other officials.

In his address, JSCA President Sanjay Sahay highlighted Dhanbad’s significant contribution to cricket since the time of undivided Bihar. He expressed confidence that the new ground would benefit local cricketers and help produce high-caliber players in the future.

DCA President Manoj Kumar stated that the completion of this ground would provide JSCA and DCA with a national-level cricket facility in Dhanbad, enabling the hosting of BCCI matches. He explained that DCA had proposed the development to JSCA, which agreed after inspection. The MoU outlines the construction of five main wickets and two practice wickets in the first phase, with plans for a dressing room in the second phase.

Among the attendees were DCA members Sadhavendra Singh, Manoj Kumar Singh, Ravijit Singh Dang, Rajan Sinha, Javed Khan, Ratnesh Singh, Dwarika Tiwari, Mahesh Gorai, Sanjay Yadav, Abhijit Ghosh, Jitendra Singh, Sudhir Pandey, as well as JSCA Executive Members Bijay Puri, Yogesh Kumar, Mihir Toppo, Uma Rao, and Ashish Sinha.
