Jamshedpur, Dec 8 : Residents of Pardesi Para in Sonari held a meeting on Monday to discuss the ongoing issue related to the construction of a mosque in the Tata Lease Area.

A similar discussion had taken place earlier on December 2.

Participants expressed satisfaction that both the Tata land department and the district administration have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated an inquiry.

For now, the construction work has been put on hold.

According to Mukul Mishra, public facility representative of Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy, residents also raised concerns regarding alleged irregularities in population growth of a particular community in the area.

Locals felt that the sudden rise in numbers needed to be examined.

It was decided that the issue will be reviewed seriously, facts will be collected, and appropriate authorities will be approached for further action after the inquiry.

Among those present at the meeting were Arun Tiwari, Vinod Prasad, Vijay Prasad, Balram Thakur, Naresh Prasad Singh, Mohan Rao, Ashok Jaiswal, and several others.
