Jamshedpur, Jan 11: XLRI is all set to conduct the celebrated MAXI Fair which is not just a normal fair, where one simply visits a stall to buy a product or play fun games, it is organised and managed by the students of XLRI to hone their management, marketing and advertising skills.
The 45th edition of the fair popularly known as the ‘Jamshedpur Mela’ is being organised on January 18 and 19, 2025, at the football ground of XLRI, Jamshedpur.
The theme of the fair this edition is ‘Marketing Mahotsav’ in which the organisers will be conducting research and analyse consumer-brand relationship and develop plan of actions to strengthen the bond between the duo.
A student of XLRI and secretary of the event Manjeet Singh said, “Various events and games are organised for visitors. These games and events have been designed in such a way that it will help us learn in disguise, while visitors enjoy the fair.”
Another member of the Maxi Fair committee said, “The fair gives us a platform to understand an overall learning experience of marketing such as understanding consumer-brand behaviour, creative-problem solving, real-world application of marketing theories, and teamwork and collaboration.”
This year in the fair the committee has come up with several exciting activities, food stalls, fun-rides for children, and opportunities to win prizes for everyone.
The two-day fair promises its visitors a fun, eventful weekend with various activities and competitions opened to families and children.
Maxi Fair, attracts more than 8,000 visitors, the research conducted, along with the student teams, provide companies with valuable insights, helping them analyse the consumer-brand relationship and develop a plan of action regarding specific products and product categories.
