Jamshedpur, Sept 26: The 88th monthly Shyam Kirtan Mahotsav organized by Shyam Bhatli Pariwar Charitable Trust (SBPCT) Jamshedpur was held with religious fervor today at Sky Residency in Adityapur. Baba Shyam�s worship commenced 8 pm. The hosts, Megha and Manish Singhania offered their prayers that were performed by priest Ramji Parikh. The priest then tied the holy thread on the wrists of all devotees present on the occasion.
The prayers were followed by Shri Ganesh Vandana after which the program of devotional songs presented by local and popular singers Mahavir Agrawal, Niraj Jalan, Priti Sharma, Bunty Changil, Rohit Gulati and Sushil Khirwal had the audience immersed in devotional fervor.
The main attractions of this Mahotsav were the eye-catching decoration of Baba�s throne and the Lord�s kitchen from where food items were offered for consecration before being distributed among milling devotees. The organizers of the program included Rajesh Pasari, Gagan Rustogi, Nitesh Dhut, Pravin Bhalotia, Vijay Agrawal, Ayush Pasari, Sandip Bajaj, Prakash Pasari, Kavita Dhut, Pravin Jalan, Uttam Naredi, Anil Goyal and Naresh Agrawal.
