Ranchi: Southwest monsoon has now stopped in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and other districts. With the disappearance of clouds, the temperature has started falling. But weather experts say that this time the monsoon will depart from the state late by about a week. Usually, every year the monsoon departs around September 17, but this time it is going to depart late by a week. There was moderate rain for a week in the month of October, after which the weather has cleared. Now a light cool breeze blows as soon as the morning dawns. There is strong sunshine in the afternoon. And as evening approaches, people start feeling coolness.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear today. With strong sunlight the day temperature may also increase. However, now there is less possibility of increase in night temperature. By evening people will feel coolness and due to the stoppage of monsoon activities in the country, the weather will now be generally clear.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that monsoon is bidding farewell in the state. The department has not issued any alert regarding rain till October 14. At the same time, monsoon is likely to depart from most of the districts by October 13. The minimum temperature can remain at 22 degrees Celsius throughout these days. And the weather of the state is predicted to remain dry. According to the department, the sky will remain clear across the state till October 14.
