Mohit Kumar takes charge as principal of JKS College

Jamshedpur, June 23:  A.P Singh has been relieved from the post of Principal of JKS College, Mango.

While, senior teacher  Mohit Kumar has been made in-charge principal in the college.

A meeting of the governing body of the college was held in the college auditorium on Friday, in which the above decision was taken.

 However, recently A. P Singh had resigned from the post citing his health reasons. Accepting his resignation in the meeting,  Mohit Kumar was issued the letter of appointment as in-charge campaigner.

A.P Singh remained on the post even after his retirement on January 31 last. In lieu of this, he was also paid Rs 50,000 per month from the college.

After  news came on this aspect, teachers of the college had demanded investigation and appropriate action from the Kolhan University administration. Making several allegations on behalf of the teachers, it was also said to present evidence.

This was the first meeting of the Governing Body at JKS College after the university appointed university representatives for all affiliated, minority and aided colleges.

 In the meeting, approval was given considering the post festival budget of the college. Along with this, it was agreed to discuss the issue of salary of the employees in the next meeting.
