Jamshedpur: Modifest is going to be organized in the city from 2nd June till 4th June at Agrico Transport ground to celebrate completion of three years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.
The event is being organized all over the country with the view to highlight and recap the achievements of the Modi government.
In view of the celebration plans, a �Jagrukta Rath� was flagged off near Shitla Mandir, Sakchi, on Tuesday. The vehicle would move through different prats of East Singhbhum informing people about various public welfare schemes being run by the Central and state governments. Fitted with LED screen, the vehicle would make rounds of the city and other parts of the district till 4th June, informed organizers of Modifest.
The organizers said a fair-cum-exhibition would be organized at Agrico ground where government schemes would be highlighted. �Several stalls will be there to inform people about different schemes. Selfie corners and food zones will also be there for the visitors to provide them with entertainment and information about schemes at the same time,� said the organizers.
Praising the organizers for coming up with the plan to organize Modifest, district BJP leader Dinesh Kumar said, �Modifest would prove greatly beneficial in making people aware about various government schemes meant for the welfare of the people and development of the nation.
Modi government is working on more than 100 schemes. The government has prioritized certain schemes including Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana.�
Several senior party leaders including Union Minister Jayant Sinha and MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato are expected to attend Modifest.
