Jamshedpur/Chaibasa, May 5 : The West Singhbhum district administration reviewed the security arrangements and preparedness of Narendra Modi’s rally at Tata College Chaibasa to ensure safety of the rally on Monday. Modi wilol address an election rally in favour of party candidate from Singhbhum seat, Laxman Gilua.  This will be Modis first rally in the entire Kolhan region.

SP Chandan Jha discussed the logistics with other members of the team which also comprised officials from Union Government. The administrative officials also decided the various entry points and exits at the venue of the meeting.

A BJP leader said, “Party activists are excited and keen to participate in Narendra Modi’s rally and that the activists from each and  every block of three districts–East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan- were expected to come in large  numbers.

The venue has a capacity of accommodating 10,000 people. Special security arrangements would be in place for the rally.

For the records, none of the six assembly seats under Singhbhum constituency (Majhgaon, Manoharpur, Chakradharpur, Seraikela, Jagannathpur and Chaibasa)  is held by BJP though Laxman Gilua is the sitting MP, giving enough reasons for the party to draw a strategy attracting rural votes.
