Modern School Secretary, Sardar Manmohan Singh passes away

Jamshedpur: A somber atmosphere enveloped Jamshedpur following the sudden demise of Sardar Manmohan Singh, the Secretary of the English medium school operated under the Sakchi Gurdwara Management Committee (SGPC). The 64-year-old educator and administrator passed away on Tuesday at Tata Main Hospital after being admitted for complications related to low diabetes.

Sardar Manmohan Singh played a pivotal role as the Secretary of Sakchi Modern English School and the Refugee Colony School, contributing significantly to the education landscape in the region. His untimely demise has left the educational community and the Sakchi Gurdwara Management Committee mourning.

Expressing their condolences, Sardar Nishan Singh, the head of Sakchi Gurdwara, and Sardar Bhagwan Singh, the head of the Central Gurdwara Management Committee, conveyed their sympathies to Manmohan Singh’s family, acknowledging the profound loss to the community. Members of the Sakchi Gurdwara Management Committee visited Manmohan Singh’s residence upon receiving the news, offering solace and support to the grieving family.
Sardar Manmohan Singh is survived by his wife, son Aman Singh, and daughter. The last rites of the departed soul are scheduled to take place on Wednesday at 12 am at Swarnarekha Ghat, Mango, where friends, family, and colleagues will bid their final farewell to the respected Secretary.
