Jamshedpur, April 22: Earth Day was celebrated at Modern English School, Sakchi, with active participation from students. Representing four houses—Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow—students organised cultural and awareness programmes highlighting nature conservation through speeches, skits, songs, and dances.
Around 40 students participated, with performances by Smith Kaur, Sajal Kumari, Archi Poddar, and others drawing appreciation. Assistant Secretary Satbir Singh was present.
Principal Santokh Singh urged students to adopt simple habits like planting trees, saving water, reducing plastic use, and conserving energy to protect the environment.
