Modern crematorium to come up at a cost of Rs 4 crore in Seraikela

Seraikela, May 5: A technically modern crematorium will be installed in Saraikela Nagar panchayat area at a cost of Rs 4 crore. Saraikela Nagar Panchayat (SNP) Vice-President Manoj Kumar Choudhary along with a team of engineers including those from JUDCO in Ranchi inspected the site and issued necessary directives for the installation of modern crematorium.

The SNP Vice President, Manoj Kumar Chaudhary said that the technically modern crematorium would eliminate a lot of inconveniences faced by people at the time of performing the last rites. He said that in view of such inconveniences Kaluram Seva Trust, a social institution had constructed additional crematoriums at both the cremation grounds in Saraikela. Chaudhary said that a modern crematorium had been a long standing demand and thus it was decided to construct a modern crematorium. “The installation of the new and modern crematorium will be constructed during our tenure in office at the Saraikela Nagar Panchayat,” the SNP Vice President said.

City Manager of Nagar Panchayat Sumit Suman, Prahlad Kumar, Amin Krishna Mahato and others were present during the inspection of the proposed crematorium site.
