Mobile theft accused tied to pole, thrashed

Jamshedpur, April 21: An alleged mobile thief, identified as Pappu Jogi, was caught by a mob at Road No 1 in Ramjanam Nagar, Kadma, on Thursday. The mob tied him to a roadside pole and beat him up before handing him over to police.

Sources said several cases of theft were registered against Jogi with the Kadma police station. The accused is a resident of Road No 6. He had reportedly stolen the mobile phone of one Arun Kumar Sah, a vegetable vendor, in Road No 1, Ramnagar, on 19^th April last.
