Jamshedpur, March 21: A mobile thief was arrested red-handed by the residents of Shastrinagar Block No 4 in Kadma on Monday.
Sources said the accused, identified as Pawan Verma, a resident of Vishnu Path, Bhatia Basti, Kadma, allegedly stole a mobile phone from one Mohit Singh’s house in Block No 4. While coming out with the stolen mobile, the accused was caught by Singh’s neighbours. The neighbours roughed up the accused and informed police about the incident. Police arrested Verma and seized the stolen phone from his possession.
