Jamshedpur: A 17 year-old boy, identified as Johny Roy, son of Satyendra Roy, a resident of Jadugora, died after being knocked down by Utkal Express on Friday.
He was reportedly crossing the railway tracks while talking over mobile phone when the incident occurred. He was dragged to some 100 metres and severely injured in the incident.
Police identified the deceased on the basis of his identity card.
