MNPS: Tiny tots display talent at K.G. Award Night

Jamshedpur, Jan. 30: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) celebrated K.G. Award Night at the school premises on Monday. Special Guests for the event were Mr. and Mrs. Niroop Mohanty, managing partner of R.M. Associates and Chairman of KMCO (Kudy Mohanty Charitable Opportunities) and KMCEO (Kudy Mohanty Chritable Educational Opportunities).

The theme for the programme was �Life is Celebration�, which means that we do not wait for an occasion or an event to celebrate. Every moment ,life is a celebration and joyful experience.

In this programme, 320 students of L.K.G. and U.K.G participated. The tiny tots, beautifully dressed in colourful costumes, sang and danced with joy and confidence. The programme was efficiently anchored by Samayra Singh, Shourya Pandey, Drishty Mukherjee and Shoyab Jamal. In this fun and frolic the budding stars mesmerized the audience with their talent. This programme marked the end of the Silver Jubilee Year.

Students with excellent performance were awarded in their respective fields. The students were awarded as Sergeant of the class for being active and alert, cooperative and having leadership quality.

The awardees were: Adaarsh Sharma, Ritvik Raj, Shoiab Jamal, Jasleen Kaur, Safak Tazmin and Trisha. The next set of students were awarded as the Encyclopedia of the class for being good in academics, having good communication and inquisitive skills. The awardees were: Tanya Kumari, Anusha Kumari, Tapaasi Rai, Sraboni Das, Sushmita Mohanty and Shiksha Gopal.

The special award was given to Navya Srivastava as the best outgoing K.G. student for being courteous, disciplined, having good communication skill and actively participating in co- curricular activities from Nursery to U.K.G.
On this occasion the Guests congratulated the students for their excellent showcase of skill.

Mr. Mohanty urged the students as well as parents to value teachers because he himself could not forget his teachers. He said that teachers are role models ,they work hard to develop a weak child into a top quality child.
Mrs. Mohanty emphasized parents to bring up their sons as good human beings as their daughters because daughters are often taught good values.

They also appreciated the efforts of the teachers for making this programme a successful one.
